About EmailHelp

Independent by design

EmailHelp is a third-party email support service that works for you, not for a provider. We don’t own your inbox, and we don’t want your password. We just want it working again — and we’ll explain every step in plain English.

Our story

Why independent email support needs to exist

Email is the key to everything else — banking, work, family photos, every “reset your password” link you’ll ever click. When it breaks, you need a person. Usually you get a help article.

EmailHelp started in 2021 with a simple observation. The people behind it had spent years doing tech support for families, small offices and retirees, and the same request kept coming up: “Can you just sit with me until my email works?” The providers’ own help centers are built to serve hundreds of millions of accounts at once. They’re good at that. They are not built to sit with one person whose inbox has been dead since Tuesday.

So we built a support team that is. EmailHelp doesn’t belong to any email provider, and we don’t get paid by one. That independence is the whole point: when a specialist tells you the fastest way back into your account, the only interest they’re serving is yours — whether your mail lives with Gmail™, Outlook™, Yahoo® Mail, an internet-provider address or a domain of your own.

Five years and more than twelve thousand resolved issues later, the promise hasn’t changed. A real specialist, a straight answer, a fix you understand — and never a request for your password.

™/® Trademarks belong to their respective owners. EmailHelp is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any email provider.

What we stand for

Four values, written into every chat

Our mission is simple: make expert email help available to anyone, from any provider, without ever putting their account at risk. These are the rules that get us there.

Independence

We aren’t owned, paid or certified by any email provider. No quotas to hit, no product to upsell — the only outcome we’re measured on is whether your email works.

If the fastest fix is a free tool from your provider, we’ll say so.

Transparency

Diagnosis is free. You see the price before anything is charged, and if we don’t think we can help, we tell you and there is no fee at all.

“Resolved or refunded” is backed by a written refund policy.

Security-first

You stay signed in to your own account and type everything yourself. We never ask for passwords or 2-step codes, and screen sharing only ever happens with your consent.

Every fix ends with recovery options and 2-step verification checked.

Plain English

No jargon, no acronyms without an explanation, no “just reset it”. We explain what went wrong and why the fix works, so next time you could do it yourself.

Ask “why?” as many times as you like. That’s the job.

How we keep you safe

Four rules we never break

Tech-support scams work by asking for the things we refuse to touch. Knowing our rules protects you from us — and from anyone pretending to be us.

  1. We never ask for your password or 2-step verification codes.

Not in chat, not by email, not “just this once”. You stay signed in to your own account and enter every code yourself. If anyone claiming to be EmailHelp asks, end the conversation.

  2. Screen sharing only with your explicit consent — in a session you control.

Most fixes need no screen share at all. When one would help, we ask first, you start the session, you watch every click, and you can end it at any moment.

  3. Transparent pricing, shown before anything is charged.

Free diagnosis, then a clear quote you confirm. Payment goes through a secure processor — we never see or store your full card number, and there are no auto-charges without your say-so.

  4. No unsolicited calls, pop-ups or “your account will be deleted” warnings.

We only ever contact you about a request you started, using the details you gave us. We don’t cold-call, we don’t run scare ads, and we don’t use countdown timers.

How to spot an impostor

A real EmailHelp specialist will never do any of these. If you see one, stop and contact us directly.

  • Ask you to read out a password or a 2-step verification code
  • Call you about a “problem” with your account — we only ever reach you by live chat or email
  • Ask for payment by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency
  • Install software or take remote control without you starting the session
  • Claim to be calling from, or on behalf of, your email provider

Independence statement

Where we stand, in plain terms

EmailHelp is an independent third-party support service.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple, AOL, or any other email provider, and we have no special access to their systems. Provider names appear on this site only to describe the accounts we can help with; all product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners.

Every provider also offers its own official help center, free of charge, directly through its website. EmailHelp is a paid alternative for people who want a live specialist to guide them — nothing we do replaces or overrides your provider’s own account policies, and provider-side decisions are ultimately theirs to make.

See for yourself

The best way to know us is to talk to us.
