These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and PrinterCare USA LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as EmailHelp (“EmailHelp”, “we” or “us”). They cover your use of emailhelp.us, our live chat and email support, and every remote support service we provide (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to them.
The short version
-
You stay in control.
We guide; you type. We never ask for your password or 2-step codes, and screen sharing happens only with your consent.
-
We are independent.
EmailHelp is a third-party service — not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple, AOL or any other provider.
-
No surprise charges.
Diagnosis is free and you confirm the price before anything is billed. One-Time Fixes are resolved or refunded.
-
We cannot promise your provider’s decision.
We do everything a specialist can, but the final say on your account belongs to your provider (Section 7).
1. Acceptance of these Terms
You accept these Terms when you browse or use our website, start a chat with a specialist, email us, submit a form, or buy a plan. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Services.
If you use the Services for a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them, and “you” includes them.
Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form part of these Terms. If a plan page or written quote sets different terms for a particular service, those terms apply to it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. If you are helping a family member who is under 18, you — the adult — are our customer and responsible for the session.
The Services are offered from the United States. You may use them from elsewhere if that is lawful where you live; we may decline service where we cannot support you properly or lawfully.
3. Our services & independence
EmailHelp provides remote technical support for email accounts. A specialist works with you over live chat, by email or through consent-based screen sharing to diagnose and fix login and access issues, password and account recovery, locked or disabled accounts, mail that will not send or arrive, hacked accounts, device setup and sync, spam and mailbox organization, and business or custom-domain email. The full list is on our Services page.
Our role is to guide and advise. The specialist explains what is happening and walks you through each step. You perform the actions on your own account, or explicitly authorize a specific action while you are present and watching. We do not log in for you and never work on your account when you are not there.
EmailHelp is an independent third-party support service, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple, AOL or any other email provider. We have no special access to any provider’s systems and cannot decide on a provider’s behalf. Every provider also offers its own official help resources — see our Disclaimer.
We may change or discontinue parts of the Services at any time; Sections 5 and 13 cover anything you have already paid for.
4. Your responsibilities & authorization
You stay in control of your account
- We never ask for your password or 2-step verification codes. If anyone claiming to be EmailHelp asks for either, stop the conversation and email support@emailhelp.us — it is not us.
- You confirm that you own the account we help with, or have the owner’s permission. We may ask you to show ownership in a way that never involves a password.
Screen sharing is consent-based
- Screen sharing is optional and starts only after you accept the request. You choose what to share, can pause or stop at any moment, and can end the session at any time.
- If a step calls for the specialist to click or type for you, they will say exactly what they are about to do and wait for your go-ahead.
- Close banking, private documents and other people’s data before sharing; we are not responsible for information you choose to display.
Please give us accurate contact details and an honest description of the problem, follow the steps we walk you through or tell us if you would rather not (refusing reasonable steps may affect refund eligibility under the Refund Policy), and keep your own backups.
You authorize us to keep the chat transcript and session notes to follow up, honor refunds and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Fees, billing & refunds
Current prices are on our Pricing page. At the time of writing: One-Time Fix — $49 for a single issue (up to 60 minutes); Home Care — $19 per month for unlimited chat support on up to three accounts; Business — $99 per month for up to 25 mailboxes. All prices are in US dollars.
How billing works
- Diagnosis is free. If we cannot help, we say so and you pay nothing.
- You confirm before you pay. After diagnosis we quote the plan that fits; nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Payments go through a secure, PCI-compliant processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Subscriptions renew monthly at the price shown when you signed up, until you cancel. We tell you in advance if a renewal price changes; there are no automatic charges without your consent.
Refunds
Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. In short: a One-Time Fix is fully refunded if the issue is not resolved within seven days of purchase or if we cannot help after diagnosis. Subscriptions have a 30-day money-back window on the first payment and can be cancelled any time, with access to the end of the paid period and no proration after 30 days. Refunds reach the original payment method within 5–10 business days; email billing@emailhelp.us with your order number to request one.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we may suspend service to accounts that use chargebacks to avoid paying for support they received.
6. Acceptable use
The Services exist to help people control email accounts that are theirs to control. You agree not to use them to:
- access, recover or “unlock” an account you do not own or lack clear permission to manage — including a partner’s, employee’s or relative’s account;
- bypass a provider’s security checks, suspension or policy decision, or obtain information about another person without consent;
- send spam, phishing or other unsolicited bulk mail;
- break the law, infringe anyone’s rights or violate your provider’s terms of service;
- harass, threaten or abuse our specialists or anyone else, or share malicious code;
- probe, scrape, reverse-engineer or overload our website or systems, or resell the Services without our written agreement.
We may pause or end any session that appears to breach this section, and may ask for reasonable proof of account ownership before continuing.
7. No guarantee of provider-side outcomes
Most email problems can be fixed. Some cannot. Whether a provider restores a disabled account, accepts a recovery request, lifts a sending limit or reverses a policy decision is the provider’s decision alone, on its own systems and timelines.
So we do not guarantee any outcome that depends on a third party — including account recovery, restoration of deleted data, delivery of particular messages or reversal of an enforcement action. We do promise our full expertise, honesty about the odds and a plain warning when success is unlikely.
Where we cannot resolve your issue, the Refund Policy applies. “Resolved or refunded” is a promise about your money, not about a provider’s behavior.
8. Intellectual property
The EmailHelp name, logo, website, chat experience, guides and all other content and software we create belong to PrinterCare USA LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use them to fix your own email problem — not to copy, republish, sell or build on them without our written permission.
Anything you share with us remains yours; you give us a limited license to use it only to provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party services & trademarks
Your email account lives with a third party, and your relationship with that provider is governed by its terms, not ours. We do not control, and are not responsible for, any third-party service, its availability, its policies or how it handles your data.
To deliver the Services we rely on carefully chosen vendors — a live-chat platform, a payment processor, web hosting and, with your consent, privacy-respecting analytics — listed by category in our Privacy Policy.
Provider names such as Gmail™, Outlook™, Hotmail™, Yahoo® Mail, AOL® and iCloud® Mail appear on this site only to describe the accounts we can help with. They are trademarks of their respective owners; their use implies no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement, and we never use provider logos to identify our Services. See our Disclaimer.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
We stand behind the Services with the refund commitments in Section 5. Beyond those, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory — including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a specific problem can be fixed, that a provider will act in a particular way, or that data will never be lost. Nothing said in a chat, in an email or on this website is a warranty unless written into these Terms or a quote.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrinterCare USA LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors and vendors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from the Services or these Terms, however caused, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Services or these Terms, taken together, will not exceed the total fees you paid EmailHelp in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid nothing — for example, because we declined your case after a free diagnosis — our liability is limited to fifty US dollars ($50).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited — such as gross negligence, fraud or willful misconduct — or to consumer rights your local law says cannot be waived.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PrinterCare USA LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors and vendors from any third-party claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Services, a request for help with an account you were not authorized to manage, or content you give us. We will notify you promptly of any such claim.
13. Termination
By you. Stop using the Services, end a session or cancel a subscription whenever you like — access continues to the end of the paid period, and the Refund Policy explains when a refund applies.
By us. We may suspend or end your access, or decline a case, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably believe you are trying to access an account that is not yours, if a session becomes abusive, if a payment fails or is reversed, or if the law requires it. Where the reason is not a breach on your part — for example, if we discontinue a plan — we refund any unused, prepaid portion.
Sections 5 (amounts owed), 8 to 12 and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Step one: talk to us
Before any formal proceeding, email support@emailhelp.us with the subject “Dispute”. We will respond within ten business days and work with you in good faith for at least thirty days.
Step two: arbitration or small claims
If we cannot resolve the matter informally, you and EmailHelp agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the consumer rules of a recognized US arbitration provider. Arbitration is conducted in English — by video where possible, otherwise in Sheridan, Wyoming. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying claim in the small-claims court for Sheridan County, Wyoming.
Class-action waiver. Claims may be brought only individually, not in any class, consolidated or representative proceeding. If this waiver is unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided by the state or federal courts in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Opting out. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@emailhelp.us with the subject “Arbitration opt-out” within thirty days of first accepting these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms — for example, when we add a service or the law changes. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date; for material changes we will also email active subscribers at least fourteen days in advance.
Using the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any subscription before then; where a material change adversely affects a plan you have already paid for, we refund the unused portion on request.
